Why couples make it
The format says something couples rarely say on camera: even at the end of the world, I would choose you. It is dramatic enough to be funny and sincere enough to make people cry, which is why couple versions get so many duets and stitches.
Making it as a couple
- Pick who is the survivor. Upload their photo first.
- Upload a photo of the partner who turns.
- Keep "Partner" selected and choose a scene. The rainy ruined city and the snowed-in cabin are the most popular couple settings.
- Generate the 15-second version so the memory at the end has room.
Then swap the photos and make the second version, with the other partner turning.
Ideas for posting
- Post both versions as a two-part series and ask followers who they would save.
- Tag your partner and post it as a reply to an old video of the two of you.
- Use the year you met or your first trip as the caption.
Photo tips for couples
Pick recent photos where each of you faces the camera. If your partner usually wears glasses, a photo with glasses keeps them recognizable after the zombie makeup, and again in the memory at the end.
